Pubimage is an innovative project from the Images & Networks Competivity Cluster Park. It adds a new dimension to advertisement, mobile phones, classic television and digital radio.
There are fifteen regional, national and international partners in a multi cultural consortium working on this project. Pubimage was born in Brittany and its aim is to place interactive advertisement on Mobile TV - a challenge in the domain of telecommunications and multimedia technologies.
Exploring new uses and synergies between media and advertisement will be the research job during two years on all image technologies (HDTV, Mobile TV, interactive, optic technology, virtual reality, broadcast network platforms, protection systems…) At the same time, partners are going to work on the usability and acceptation services called "new media". Additionally, they are going to study advertisements inside new multimedia technologies in France as well in world.
New advertisement forms are born on Mobile TV and IP TV such as Digital Radio: Pubimage flings us inside the interactive and multimedia mobility era.
